A photo file is different from a screenshot
A screenshot includes only what your screen displays. Downloading retrieves an image file exposed by the platform. Its resolution still depends on the source: it is not necessarily the uncompressed photograph uploaded by the creator.
Open photo collections as a ZIP
Instagram photo posts can be returned as a gallery archive, including single-photo posts. Extract the ZIP to access the individual files. Their extensions reflect the media returned by the source; do not rename a WebP file to JPEG to convert it.
Check every slide in a carousel
An album may mix photos and videos. Compare the extracted files with the post before deleting your own originals. This release has a 50-item gallery limit and does not guarantee recovery of every item when a platform restricts access.
Know the limits
Downloads are limited to 1 GB, videos to one hour, and galleries to 50 items. Files are available for one hour after completion. Availability is checked for each link; private, login-restricted and DRM-protected media are not supported.
Questions before you download
Will photos be upscaled?
No. LinkToKeep retrieves available source files and does not add image detail.
Can I get every carousel image?
The gallery adapter attempts to retrieve available items, up to 50. Source restrictions may prevent a complete result.
Can I download a profile picture with this page?
This page is for photo-post URLs. Profile-photo extraction is not a promised feature.
How do I save an Instagram photo in full size?
