Terms of Use
The rules you agree to when you use LinkToKeep, what the service will and will not do, and where responsibility sits.
Using the service means accepting these terms
LinkToKeep is a free tool that inspects a public media link, shows the formats the source publishes, and processes the one you choose so you can save it. Using it means you accept the terms below. If you do not, please do not use it.
What you are responsible for
You choose the link. That makes the download your decision, and the responsibility for it yours.
- Only save media you created, own, or have permission to download, or that is offered under a licence allowing it.
- Follow the terms of the platform the media came from, and the copyright law that applies where you are. Those rules are not suspended because a tool makes a file easy to fetch.
- Do not use what you download to republish, resell, or pass off someone else's work as your own.
We do not review submitted links and cannot tell whether you hold the rights to a given file. Nothing here grants you a right to content you did not already have.
What the service will not do
These are design decisions, not temporary gaps, and asking for them will not change the result:
- It does not sign in as you and will not reach private, follower-only or login-restricted posts.
- It refuses DRM-protected video, including FairPlay-protected Vimeo, rather than attempting to remove the protection.
- It does not add, remove, or edit watermarks, and it does not upscale. A file leaves at the quality the source published.
Limits and availability
Downloads stop at 1 GB, one hour of video, and 50 items per gallery. Completed files are deleted one hour after they are ready, so collect them in that window. These limits keep a free service usable for everyone and may change.
The service is provided as it is, with no warranty. Platforms change how they serve media without notice, so availability for any given link, platform, or format is not guaranteed, and neither is uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost files, lost time, or any loss arising from using or being unable to use the service. Keep your own copies of anything that matters.
Acceptable use
The service is built for people saving media one link at a time. Do not automate bulk requests, script against it, resell access, or attempt to disrupt it or work around its limits. We may block requests that do, without notice.
Copyright and removal
We do not host a library. A file is fetched, delivered, and deleted within the hour, so there is no stored copy to remove. Rights holders who believe the service is being used against their work can write to pranavpatil6251@gmail.com. What to include is on the contact page.
Not affiliated with the platforms
LinkToKeep is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, Pinterest, Vimeo, SoundCloud, Twitch, Threads, Imgur, or their owners. Platform names appear only to identify the sources a tool works with, and all trademarks belong to their owners.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the service changes. The date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it. How your data is handled is covered separately on the privacy and file retention page.
