How to download
- Copy the URL of a public post or video you have permission to save.
- Paste it above and select Get media. Wait for the available formats.
- Choose a format and select Download. When processing finishes, select Save file.
Copy a single Short
Open the specific Short and copy its share URL. A channel or Shorts feed does not identify a single video. The tool checks the submitted link with the YouTube extractor; availability can change.
Choose the returned format
A vertical video is still a video file. Select an available quality cap or audio-only option if offered. The final file may be MP4 or MKV; changing its extension does not convert it.
If a Short cannot be read
A public page may be blocked when accessed from a server. LinkToKeep cannot unlock private, members-only or DRM-protected videos. Save only your own media or content you have permission to download.
Know the limits
Downloads are limited to 1 GB, videos to one hour, and galleries to 50 items. Files are available for one hour after completion. Availability is checked for each link; private, login-restricted and DRM-protected media are not supported.
Questions before you download
Can I download an entire Shorts feed?
No. Submit one video URL at a time.
Does this guarantee every Short works?
No. The source is checked for each request and can refuse access.
Does it increase video quality?
No. Output depends on the formats exposed by the source.
Can I save a YouTube Short as MP4?
The output container depends on the streams the source returns and can be MP4 or MKV. Both play in common video players.
Does it remove the watermark from a Short?
No. The file contains whatever the platform returns. Watermarks burned into the video by its creator or by another app stay in the picture, and nothing is added either.
Can I download Shorts on iPhone or Android?
Submit the link from any mobile browser. On iOS, saved files usually land in the Files app rather than the photo library.
Can I get just the audio from a Short?
An Audio only · MP3 option appears when the inspected Short exposes a supported audio stream.
